In 2018 after 8
years of silence, Dimmu Borgir launched Eonian
an album that wasn’t well received by almost all the fans, sounding more to Nightwish
than to themselves, they started playing very few shows of only 70 minutes, and
they claim they play few shows to do them exclusive, shouldn’t they play more
time then?, the lineup of the band consists in the 3 core members and 3 guest
musicians, and even when they are not bad players, they are like any other musicians
in metal scene now, so the performance is a little bit boring and powerless,
added to 4 songs from current album and an average audience recording with some
crowd noise, the result is a bootleg just for the hard core fans, a shame what
used to be an amazing band went to hell for all the lineup changes, far are the
days when Nagash co-wrote half their best albums, or Mustis
input helped them to create good music.
