The Cure: Madrid ‘92

Review

Who the bloody hell is Roberto Soaves and why he played the bass, well he was player of Shelleyan Orphany (Opening act for The Cure in 1989), Babacar (current Boris band) and also played the bass for Ace of Base, well he played the bass because Simon was sick and they needed to continue with the tour.

Similar as it’s twin brother Barcelona ’92 but the sound quality is not as good in special in the first songs where a crazy girl was screaming all the time, anyway the song list has more surprises like 100 Years, acoustic part of Fire in Cairo & The figurehead.

Song list

1.       Open, high, pictures of you, lullaby, just like heaven, fascination street, 100 years, trust, the walk, let’s go to bed, Friday I’m in love, fire in Cairo, in-between days, from the edge of the deep green sea

2.       Never enough, cut, end, lovesong, close to me, why can’t I be you, the figurehead, primary, boys don’t cry, a forest
