The Cure: It Was The First Time
Review
It Was the first time, I recorded from
audience, as a matter of fact I did it for the 3 The Cure shows in 2004 and never do it again, all my
recordings since then are from soundboard, I’m quite happy with the way this
recording happened, it’s the full show without any single cut, in the 2CD set
version there are some cuts from crowd noise to fit all in 2CD but my friend Carnage Visors who did a remaster on this one, decided
it was better to keep it as it happened with no cuts, as the 2CD set version
the problem here is the acoustic from the cooper dome that creates hollow
sound, low volume from remaster and there was a problem with security over Grinding
halt and I
had to hide the microphones so the sound quality decrease from that moment to
the end of the show, not a lot but sounds like what happened microphones under
the clothes.
