The Cure: London 21.12.24
Review
This line up is sounding much better by
now than on 2013, anyway is still not the best, Roger insist
in trying to play more piano oriented versions or do arrangements over his parts
that are not good for the band, in other hand Reeves
who is an incredible gifted guitar player sounds very limited in The Cure, he
never put enough energy on the songs as was done over the last tour as 4 piece
with Thompson, the band sounds fine but sounds tired,
the lack of energy, power and improvisation is evident in special on Wish, The
Cure and Dream 4 13 songs that are much more guitar oriented or in Never enough, anyway good recording whole The Top era songs played plus Hey You!!! Of course all sax parts are changed to guitar parts,
but the inclusion of them on the set list was great!.
Really is incredible that Robert preferred to bring back Roger instead of keep with
brother in law and much more talented musician Porl Thompson.
