The Cure: Coachella 2009

Review

For me this one is very important Porl’s last stand with the band, the end of the strange 4 piece era with guitars playing keyboards part, also last time the band release an album until now at least 2015, with no signs of something new, even with an album already written and recorded by this line up, said that and with current horrible line up, I want to add some info I found at cure-concerts.de:

“The Cure played about 40 min past curfew till the plug was pulled on "Jumping Someone Elses Train".

"Just past 12:30 a.m. on Monday, the main lights were turned on, .... Then the big screens were shut off and then the lights on the stage were turned on ....

Right after they started "Boys Don't Cry," the main speaker was turned-off, but they kept the amps on, on stage.

Once the group finished - Jumping Someone Elses Train - and started in on another - Grinding Halt - the stage amps were turned off at 12:40 a.m.

Jason kept playing."

The sound quality is really good for a matrix recording combining 3 audience sources.
