The Cure: Primavera Sound 2012

Review

There is a webcast version with 1/3 of the songs included, this one is the full show as audience recording, clear sound for an open air shows, with a little bit windy and hollow sound, but being honest well recorded for the conditions, the only weak point are screamers around the taper, not too much but hearable enough to point it. Now the performance, again the band sounds too mature, yes they are mature but their guitars not and they had been using no effects on them since Porl’s departure and that creates too much spaces on the songs, they sound too basic.

A really nice surprise was Just one Kiss played, if not the best version still enjoyable, also is really nice that with the years the band plays longer sets, if only they had the right line up this will be delirious.
