Surprise, surprise! One day at Dime a Dozen the original singer Jon uploaded this material, and with a very long and detailed description, this is a must have from one of the 2 best ever hard core bands, the other is Cro-mags in case you need to know it!, now Jon’s notes:

This show is from May 1, 1983.

It was recorded off the board at a cowboy bar in Missoula, MT called 'The Forum'. That's me singing on it. I'd been up for at least 24 hours before the show. Us and the Rejectors did a mini tour to MT to play with Deranged Diction, a cool hardcore band that happened to have a bass player named Jeff Ament (later of some no-name group called Pearl Jam)The cowboys had no idea what to make of a bunch of punk kids invading their turf. For the first half of the set they sorta stood and stared, then they got into it a little more and were havin a regular 'ho-down'! We even had christians with signs protesting the show outside!

Chewy, Tom and Dana had been doing versions of the Accused as a 3 piece for most of 1981. I joined in June of 1982. We did a fairly well received '22 song demo' tape on some dude's 4 track, but were always recording on anything we could find. This is something done in late 1982 in Tom's basement on a console 2-track cassette recorder. Go to your local thrift store and you'll find a similar unit. I think this was the recording that Steve Rabow culled 2 songs for the 'What Syndrome' tape comp. Rough and rudimentary, Pure history(snicker). ENJOY!
