First
of all I want to say thank you very much to BMR for this one, in fact one of his first recordings with DAT, and
the quality is great probably would be better if I haven’t heard the show from Tampere, that one is among the best ever recording for this
band, but talking about Helsinki the show is great, the sound is fine but the
band is trying to play heavier and slower to fit with the mood of the current
tour and album (Memorial album 2006), This was the first headlining tour of the band in that
nation since 1998.
A
note very interesting from the taper is: The
band was on fire. Fernando was also very excited, and talked some finnish here and there. I gotta say I was no less
than extremely suprised that how tight show Moonspell
delivered. Really amazing. Also
happy how my recording turned out... Hope you enjoy this one as
well. The sound might go
slightly (and I do mean really SLIGHTLY!) more distant than what the recording normally
is but there were some people who insisted
to walk over me so
creating slight fluctation. But it's almost
unnoticeable, unless you have great hearing. Also might be some coughs of mine
in couple of
songs, since I was in small
flu, but so far I have listened this and haven't noticed those being disturbing
at all...
