Mercyful fate: House of Satan. Copenhagen, Denmark.03/07/82 Plus Demos & Interview ’82 & ‘84
I have tried a lot to track this bootleg in time and place but I couldn’t sorry for that, here is all the info I can get from Jay and other sites, Tracks 1-7 from early club show in Copenhagen, Denmark 1981 or 1982 but not well specified, well this part sounds great but I wonder why if Mercyful Fate is a Danish band, King Diamond spoke in English all the time and not in Danish language, during the second song you can hear King saying Welcome to the house of Satan from where the name was taken also I have to say that the show has gaps of half second in some parts or pops in the others according with Jay is not from MP3 so I trust him but I prefer to let you know that part also, so maybe was a radio broadcast an to avoid the commercials they did that. Then came a series of demos tracks 8 & 14 are from Michael Deener 3 piece band, 9,11,12 & 13 Brats demo (King Diamond previous band), track 10 Mercyful fate 1982 Demo, and tracks 15-19 is an interview from 1984 in Europe that’s all I could do, any information would be appreciate it!!!
