Here
is a note from the taper that explains all in great way.
This
was broadcasted on Swedish radio this past Wednesday (March 14th). I'm sure
most of you are familiar with P3 Live by
now considering how many
of their recordings are posted on this place. Earlier this year they started to
invite bands to
record sessions for them
which they broadcast on Wednesdays as P3 Live Session. I believe all these
recordings are live
in the studio in front of
a selected audience.
Originally
this broadcast was almost 90 minutes but I decided to only keep the music.
There's no DJ talk whatsoever on this!
There
were also a bunch of interviews, mostly with members from the band, but also
one with some writer from the
Mag. Since 99% of you
who'll be downloading this don't understand Swedish (or Danish), you wouldn't
be understanding any of
that anyway. Some of these
interviews included bits and pieces of officially released music, so I couldn't
possibly include
that even if I wanted to.
As
you might notice, Hate Song is included twice. In one of the interviews Peter
Dolving mentioned that The Haunted has to
be one of the most less
spontaneous bands around. I guess the folks at Swedish radio wanted to prove
the band wrong and had
the band record something
spontaneously which turned out to be this not all that serious acoustic version
of the song
(if it wasn't for the lyrics I wouldn't have recognized it!).
It's only about a minute or so.
